EAST PASSYUNK — Last year, chef Lucio Palazzo, blogger/jerkyman Marcos Espinoza (a.k.a Fidel Gastro), and illustrator Hawk Krall teamed up to bring the Shiprock Navajo taco pop-up to 12 Steps Down, and it was one of the must-attend events of the year. This Monday, March 17, they're finally bringing back the frybread, this time popping up at Garage. Starts at 6 p.m., and in addition to traditional, veggie, and sweet variations, they'll debut a fry bread hot dog this time around. [EaterWire]
QUEEN VILLAGE — Is there a greater possible honor in life than getting to invent and name a sandwich to be immortalized on a menu? Doubtful. Here's your chance: Shank's at Pier 40 is running just such a contest on Facebook. (Enter by March 31!) [Passyunk Post]
PRINCETON — Here's some fairly intense Friday food porn for you, via A Life Worth Eating's photo set of the marathon tasting menu at Princeton's Elements. [G+, via -EN-]
