BUCKS COUNTY — After Square Peg shuttered, chef Matt Levin (previously: Adsum, Lacroix) opted for a gig with Brulee Catering. But now he's popped back up in a restaurant kitchen, kind of: the Insider reports that Levin signed on as a consultant at Pineville Tavern, near Newtown. (If nothing else, you may recall it from an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, where they made snapper soup.) The new menu kicked off this week. [Philly.com]
STUNT FOOD — Here are some cinnamon rolls stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough. Moreover, they're not even the first cinnamon rolls stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough. [Dude Food, via FWF]
CEDAR PARK — Last month, Kensington-based urban farm Greensgrow signed a deal to expand into West Philly, where Elena's Soul once stood before being destroyed by a fire in 2012. Now it looks like the outpost is just about ready: opening day for Greensgrow West is next Thursday, April 3. [WPL]
