The Franklin Flea is taking a two-weekend jaunt out to the mall in advance of its Center City outdoor season (which will kick off April 19 at 8th and Market streets). Tomorrow, March 28 through Sunday, March 30 — and then again from April 4-6 — the Flea will take up residence at the Plymouth Meeting Mall with a pared-down selection of ten to twenty vendors.
Amongst the antique furniture and vintage finds, there will be local edibles. Some of the packaged food vendors familiar to flea-goers will be making the trek, including Jersey-based hot sauce brand Hank Sauce this weekend, and Philly's own St. Lucifer Spice in April. And for more immediate gratification, Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods plans to set up a stand both weekends, serving tacos and doughnuts (that classic combo).
Market hours for both weekends are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
