A fight outside Gayborhood staple Woody's late Saturday night resulted in a shot being fired, reports G Philly.
Initial eyewitness accounts described a gun being drawn inside the bar, though it was unclear whether or not any shots were fired. An update late this morning, drawn from the official police report and provided by reporter Victor Fiorillo, details one shot fired outside of the bar at around 1:40 a.m.
Apparently, no arrests were made. In addition to reports that the weapon was first seen inside the bar, G Philly's report of earlier eyewitness accounts also describe a group of men, "presumably involved with the gun incident, 'aggressively shoved down a flight of stairs' by Woody's staff." However, the police report contains no confirmation of anything that may have happened inside the club prior to the shooting, so it remains unclear if the report was correct or if the incident described was related.
