Crow and the Pitcher should be open within weeks, reports Michael Klein today. The French-influenced American bar and restaurant comes from co-owners Michael Franco and chef Alex Capasso (of Collingwood's Blackbird Dining Establishment, West Side Gravy), both of whom have worked for Georges Perrier in the past. The new spot's website promises a focus on good beer and cheese, the latter of which will be showcased in a refurbished cheese cart from none other than Le Bec-Fin. [Philly.com]
