Congratulations are in order for chef Eli Kulp, who was just named one of Food & Wine magazine's Best New Chefs for 2014. Kulp runs the critically acclaimed kitchens at Fork and High Street on Market, as well as the recently revamped a.kitchen, which has met with early raves since Kulp's re-launch a couple of weeks ago.
F&W editor-in-chief Dana Cowin announced this year's class of rising stars this morning via Instagram. (See the rest of the winners' snapshots here.) Fork Restaurant also tweeted that another Best New Chef winner, Cara Stadler of Tao Yuan in Maine, is an alum of their kitchen.
NB: The winners announced today are the ones chosen by F&W's editorial team. The People's Best New Chef honor, which we told you about last week, is a separate award decided by popular vote. Winners of the People's Best New Chef vote are expected tomorrow.
