Finally, some news that marries two of our favorite, seemingly limitless trends: the influx of burger chains to Philly, and the continued success of Marky Mark and all his kin. Today, Eater Boston caught word that Wahlburgers, the Wahlberg brothers' burger bar, has signed a deal to launch five franchise locations in the Philly metro area. (No precise locations yet, but that number includes an A.C. outpost.)

The original Wahlburgers, which is also the subject of an A&E reality show, is based in the Boston suburb of Hingham. The news of the planned expansion to Philly comes alongside news of two new locations coming to Boston proper. (A Toronto location is already in the works.) The casual dining concept features a wide variety of burgers, build-your-own dirty water dogs, and a full bar whose cocktail selection boasts both "frappetinis" and "wahlcoctions."
