Marshall Green OUT at Jerry's Bar

In a blow to sticky-bun lovers everywhere, Marshall Green is no longer in the kitchen at Jerry's Bar, according to a report from Michael Klein. No comment on the cause of the split yet from either side, though Klein mentions that Green has not landed at another restaurant at this time.

Green was the opening chef at the current incarnation of Jerry's, which Christie Proud-Bernstein and Ryan Bernstein revamped and relaunched in May of last year. He gained the admiration of critics as chef-owner of Cafe Estelle, which closed in 2012.

Matt Moon, previously chef de cuisine at Jerry's, has now moved up to the top post. Moon previously ran the show at Talula's Table (and, for roughly two weeks, Talula's Garden) and the St. James in Ardmore. (His run at the latter ended shortly after a pair of unfortunate reviews.)
