Green Aisle Expanding to G-Ho; Lolita Nearing Relaunch

GRADUATE HOSPITAL — East Passyunk's Green Aisle Grocery is in expansion mode, with a new location coming to 2241 Grays Ferry Ave by May, if all goes according to plan. The space, which owners Adam and Andrew Erace reports is fully five times larger than their first shop, will have a kitchen (meaning more of their house-brand prepared and preserved foods) and even a Little Baby's Ice Cream counter. ART MUSEUM — To complement the Treasure From Korea exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the on-site Restaurant at Granite Hill is running a special Korean menu now through Sunday. On the menu: cold soba salad with black radish and kimchi vinaigrette, a kimchi-topped hot dog and more. [Foobooz]

MIDTOWN VILLAGE — The relaunch of Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran's Lolita is nearing (though there's still no exact date), and Zagat has shots of some of the dishes and drinks you can look forward to once she's back up and running. [Zagat]

RITTENHOUSE — Oyster House will host its Fifth Annual Oyster Shucking Competition tomorrow, April 5, starting at 2 p.m. Watch the pros battle it out, and if you like, register on the spot for the amateur competition that folows. (It's $5 to enter, and there's a $100 gift cert on the line.) It's always a good time, even if you're just there to watch (and suck down oysters, of course).
