Chip Roman's newest restaurant, The Treemont, has been open for just about five weeks, and it looks like they're ready to start making a few adjustments at the bar as they settle in.
First up, there are some new hours to report. The bar, previously open until 1 a.m. each night, will be shutting down a little earlier: the new hours are 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 4:30 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday.
This week, the Treemont has officially launched happy hour, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m. every Sunday through Friday, downstairs in the bar area.
During happy hour, check out $6 "Final Problem" cocktails (rum, house ginger, lime cordial, soda), plus $5 wine specials and $4 beer specials.
To go with your drinks, in addition to the bar snacks already on the menu, there will be a rotating "Snack of the Week" special, priced at $3. (This week, it's crispy short rib rillettes with parmesan cream.) Plus, there'll be free popcorn, spiced with a blend from La Boite (the same spice whisperers whose mixes feature elsewhere on the menu, as well as at FedNuts and other CookNSolo spots).
