2014 Vendy Award Nominees Have Been Announced

The Vendy Awards, which annually crown the city's best food-truck eats, are headed into their fourth year in Philly. Today, they've announced the 2014 nominees, which you'll find below.

The event itself is scheduled for Saturday, June 14 at Penn Treaty Park. Tickets are $55 and include all the food you want (or care to stand in line for), unlimited drinks from Sam Adams and Angry Orchard cider, and the chance to cast a people's choice ballot.

The nominees are broken into three categories: the main event, a special award for the best newcomer, and one just for dessert. (See some unfamiliar names? They've got mini-bios of all the nominees up on the awards site.)

The judging panel includes Felicia D'Ambrosio (CookNSolo Restaurants), Lily Fischer (Cake Life Bake Shop), Danya Henninger (Zagat Philly editor and contributor to Philly.com and Philly Beer Scene magazine), Ann Karlen (Fair Food), and Nicole Woon (Penn Appetit). Lily Cope, of Audrey Claire COOK, will emcee the event.
