Brigantessa is just about ready to start hiring, according to this Craigslist post. The East Passyunk forneria (so-called for the wood-fired oven central to the concept; rolls off the tongue a bit easier than "pizzeria/enoteca/birreria") hopes to open its doors in late July.
They're looking to meet candidates for all front- and back-of-house positions (aside from exec and pastry, of course, which belong to Le Virtù's Joe Cicala and Angela Ranalli, respectively) on Wednesday, June 11. Bring a resume and cover letter to be interviewed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Le Virtù, if you're looking.
For a preview of what's to come from the new spot, check out the Brigantessa/Pitruco pizza truck pop-up on June 1 as part of Philly Beer Week.
