A PAWS Benefit at the Trestle Inn; Vegan Cafe Opening in Rittenhouse This Weekend

AVENUE OF THE ARTS — More love for Top Chef Kevin Sbraga's fried-bird game: Sbraga's vadouvan-spiced Indian fried game hen is "an absolute showstopper," according to a recent check-in by Meal Ticket to scope the new spring menu. [MT]

CALLOWHILL — It's Kitten Week at the Trestle Inn, which is a kind of loosely themed roundup of games and drinks about cats, we think? But more importantly, it's a benefit for PAWS, so by all means: go, game, drink. [Foobooz]

RITTENHOUSEP.S. & Company, a vegan/organic/kosher/gluten-free bakery, juice bar, and lunch cafe, will open this Saturday, May 10 at 1706 Locust Street. If "P.S. & Co." sounds unfamiliar, it's the official name of what we were all calling "Pure Sweets" earlier in the process. (That's the name of the baking company owner Andrea Kyan's been running for a handful of years, but this place is doing a lot more than sweets.) [Philly.com]
