BYO Farm Dinners With Eli Kulp; Ballpark Food, Reviewed

BYO PICNIC — No, not that BYO picnic. Fork/High Street/a.kitchen chef Eli Kulp and local cheese expert Tenaya Darlington are teaming up for a series of intimate outdoor dinners at some local farms. They'll provide the table, chairs, and food, you supply the drinks and table settings. Meal Ticket has more details. [MT]

MEALS ON WHEELS — A new truck called Jerry's Kitchen is just about ready to go, reports Zagat Philly, offering grilled donut sandwiches, vegan fare, and gluten-free options. Look for them by the end of this month at 33rd and Arch, with more locations to follow. [Zagat]

BALLPARK FOOD — The Phillies may not have much to offer on the field this season, but Citizens Bank Park did roll out a number of new menu items to try, and the Daily News took it upon themselves to review many of them. (Notable oversight: cheesesteak nachos.) The new pastrami at Alley Brewing Co. gets high marks, as does Harry the K's over-easy burger and Philly Frank and Stein's cheesesteak dog. Harry the K's new mussels were hit-or-miss, but their poutine was the biggest loser of the bunch. [PDN]
