Industry Night at Alla Spina; Free, Rare Pilsner Urquell Pours in Headhouse

FAIRMOUNT — This month's Industry Night at Alla Spina coincides with Philly Beer Week, so in addition to free food, you can look forward to a ton of Victory and Tired Hands brews and more special treats. The party starts at 10 p.m tonight and, as always, is free for those who can flash an industry pay stub. [Meal Ticket]

NO LIBS — The century-old Ortlieb's brewing building is all but gone, as seen in these photos from Naked Philly, though the demolition process has been slow-going. (Ortlieb's jazz club, housed in a small corner portion of the former complex, is still alive and well.) [Naked Philly]

HEADHOUSE SQUARE — Headhouse Square newcomer Society Hill Society kills it on cocktails, but they're also proud of their unique-in-Philly Czech fount pouring Pilsner Urquell like you rarely see it: Poured different ways, the same beer takes on different qualities. That's the focus of their free "Three Pours, Three Bites" event starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3. Better yet: for this special Philly Beer Week event, they've gotten their hands on a keg of Pilsner Urquell Nefiltrovaný. It's unfiltered, unpasteurized, hard to come by, and extremely well-rated. Chef Yun Fuentes will provide bites tailored to each pour. RSVP to info@societyhillsociety if you want in. [EaterWire]
