Sutton's Parlor, Logan Goat Shut Down

The slow forward march of the shitshow that is Matt Swartz' unraveling continues, with word from Foobooz that two Swartz-operated bars, Sutton Parlor and Logan Goat (elsewhere known simply as Logan), were suddenly shuttered. (Posted notices on both entrances give a half-hearted nod toward "remodeling.") Logan/Logan Goat just opened in March of this year.

The Insider followed up with some further accounting of the various legal woes faced by the bars, as well as at Farmers' Cabinet, Swartz's Wash West bar that's been shut down by authorities twice since December — once following a police raid involving a forged liquor license (Swartz was arrested and ultimately pleaded guilty to tampering with a public document), and once on the orders of the health department.

In a fascinating twist, Foobooz previously reported that Swartz's probation officer was working as a part-time server at FCab. (The Insider now reports that the officer has been suspended from duty.)
