Matt & Marie's, a fast-casual shop serving "modern Italian sandwiches" at 2 Logan Square, is now officially open for business. First-time owners Nicole Capp and Justin Sapolsky worked with chef Ryan Smith (interestingly, his main gig is executive chef at a wine shop/school) to design the brief menu.

In addition to sandwiches, the shop carries a small assortment of imported sweets. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
