A few weeks ago, we learned that Serrano in Old City was shutting down the kitchen for a few months for a reno and rebrand. (The bar and the Tin Angel upstairs were both said to be unaffected.) Now, it looks like taco cart Ranch Road will be moving in for a few nights a week throughout the summer.
Starting this week on July 16, Ranch Road chef Meghan Carnevale will take up residence in the former Serrano space, serving a casual menu of tacos and sides every Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. (That schedule should hold through at least early August.) The bar will offer a changing list of specials to go with. According to Ranch Road's Facebook page, the truck will be off the road during their tenure in Old City.
