Demo Imminent on East Passyunk; Sutton's Parlor Update

EAST PASSYUNK — A few weeks ago, Curbed Philly noticed a demo notice on 1646-48 South 12th Street, a.k.a. the long-quiet Chris Scarduzio project on East Passyunk. (This is the building that used to house Artisan Boulanger before they moved.) Now, the Passyunk Post has some pictures from the site, and it looks like demo is finally imminent. Still no updates on the concept or details of the project, which has been pretty much silent for about a year. [P'yunk Post]

SWARTZ WIRE — For those of you following along with the Matt Swartz show, Foobooz is reporting that "temporarily closed" Sutton's Parlor has been stripped of all identifying marks and shows no sign of life. Meanwhile, Farmers' Cabinet (another Swartz-operated bar), remains closed after a "summer cleaning" break that was meant to wrap up by July 11. [Foobooz]
