Food Truck Explosion in Feltonville Injures 12

A food truck explosion last night at Third and Wyoming streets in the North Philly neighborhood of Feltonville left 12 people injured, reports CBS3. The two people working in the La Parrillada Chapina truck at the time — 42-year-old Olga Galdamez and her daughter, 17-year-old Jaylin Landaverry — were listed in critical condition. Two more victims were listed in stable condition, while eight others who sustained injuries were treated and released.

The sudden explosion, which happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, was recorded by a nearby surveillance camera. Preliminary police reports say it appears to have been a propane tank explosion.
