The imminent closure of Tangier at 18th and Lombard streets was reported back in May, but now it's official: the bar will close for good on Monday, August 4.
In a statement posted to Facebook, owner Jack Roe confirmed only that the new owners plan to close the bar and convert the space into something new, but says he doesn't know what that something new will be.
