The Farmers' Cabinet has been evicted, and owners Matt and Colleen Swartz found on the losing side of a $1.3M judgment, Michael Klein is reporting. That amount represents back and future rent (their lease, according to a previous report from Foobooz, extended to 2021), in addition to other bills and fees.
The default judgment (the Swartzes reportedly did not attend the hearing) and eviction follows a lengthy period of turmoil for the bar, which has seen multiple temporary shutters following a raid late last year that saw Matt Swartz arrested.
