In honor of The Five Days of Meat, it's time to talk steakhouses. As our culinary microcosm expands and diversifies at a rapid pace, some may be tempted to think of our meat-and-potatoes obsession as something of a relic. And sure, over the past few years, the steakhouse scene has seen a few quick exits, epic tanks and truly terrible reviews. Still, there's no shortage of these lavish spots thriving in Philly, from traditional American steak-and-seafood houses to Brazilian churrascarias and beyond. And this meat-intensive week seems like the perfect time to check in with the genre.

So what's the best steakhouse in the Philly area right now? Today, we're asking for your nominations. Let us know your favorite in the comments below or via the tipline, or hit us up on Twitter.

We'll consider all nominations made between now and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9. Then, we'll open up the polls for the official vote to crown Philly's best steakhouse before our Five Days of Meat are through. Sound good? Go, nominate!
