PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden Opens Tonight

Tonight's the kick-off for the 2014 season of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Pop-Up Garden. The garden, which makes use of plants from PHS's annual Philadelphia Flower Show, will be open seven days a week through the summer and into October. Food and drinks will be available for purchase nightly. (See below for the full breakdown of the hours.)

Food this year will come out of the Jamaican Jerk Hut, which is located just next door to this year's site, as well as a rotating cast of food trucks.

This year's garden will feature beers from Yards, Flying Fish, and 21st Amendment. You'll also find wine and tropical cocktails on the menu. The space has been designed to accommodate about 300 people.

Monday to Friday: 11:00 am
Saturday: 2:00 pm
Sunday: Noon

Food and Drink:
Monday to Thursday: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Friday: 5:00 pm - Midnight
Saturday: 2:00 pm - Midnight
Sunday: Noon - 10:00 pm
