Eater National today has an in-depth interview with Eli Kulp (Fork, High St. on Market, A.Kitchen and Bar), discussing his move and transition from New York to Philadelphia, and his thoughts on our city's "ascendant" and rapidly evolving food scene. And yes, if you were wondering, he's getting a little sick of being asked which city is better:
Yeah, I hate that question. People always ask, "What do you like better? New York or Philadelphia?" I get that question all the time. It's crazy. They're like, "Please don't go back to New York." It's just funny to me because it's not like I live in Arizona or something. New York is just an hour and 15 minutes away. They know what New York is. They don't need me to answer that question.
