High Street on Market has nabbed the number two spot on BonApp's 2014 Best New Restaurants list — one more impressive accolade for a restaurant that's having a very, very good year. And while chef Eli Kulp has been raking in much of the attention this year (Mayor Nutter even declared July 16, 2014 "Eli Kulp Day"), BA editor Andrew Knowlton is even more smitten with the skills of head baker Alex Bois. After waxing poetic on High Street's bread selection, Knowlton concludes:
If, at this point, you are wondering if the No. 2 restaurant on this year's list got here on its dough alone, the answer is—unequivocally and emphatically—a very carby yes.
