A Starbucks for South Street West?; Hot Diggity Sells Burgers Now

SOUTH STREET WEST — A Starbucks is rumored to be moving into the former L2 space at 22nd and South, according to NakedPhilly. If it's true, the mega-chain will be within a few blocks of a number of local coffee shops, including Rival Bros., Ants Pants, and Ultimo. [NakedPhilly]

QUEEN VILLAGE — There was a partial roof collapse yesterday at 900 South Front Street, the building that houses For Pete's Sake. The pub was in the process of expanding upward to add a second-floor dining room. No injuries were reported. [Metro/Passyunk Post]

SOUTH STREET Hot Diggity has expanded its menu to include way more than just hot dogs. There's a whole list of burgers on the roster now, plus new sides including onion rings, wings (with a vegetarian option), and nachos. Looking forward, they're promising to add some regional classics from around the country, like green chile cheeseburgers, Jucy Lucys, and chow mein sandwiches. [EaterWire]
