Square Pie Coming to Former Blue Belly BBQ Space

Ever since Blue Belly BBQ shut down this spring — and owners Gene and Amy Giuffi (Cochon) said they planned to hold onto the building — we've been anxiously awaiting news of what they'd do next. Now we know, thanks to a report from the Insider: It'll become a Sicilian pizzeria called Square Pie.

In addition to the square pies, expect some pasta and other entrees, all suited to takeout. (If you ever visited Blue Belly, you'll remember there's only room in the restaurant for a few tables and a counter.) The Giuffis plan to have the new shop up and running in October.
