The fate of Finnigan's Wake, perhaps Philly's foremost house of fratty horrors, may be one step closer to being decided, after having been up in the air for a while now. It first went up for sale about a year ago for a cool $5 million, and more recently, it's been sitting closed much of the time. Now, the Insider is reporting, they may have finally found someone to buy it.
The listing had since dropped to $3.9 million. The deal being reported by Klein is still pending, and it remains to be seen what the final purchase price might be. It's also unclear what would become of the space. Neither the current owners or the investment group said to be purchasing the place are talking just yet.
So let's hear it: What would be the best use of this gigantic space, hopefully not before a very thorough cleaning?
UPDATED: The sale has been confirmed, and Finnigan's Wake is now officially closed.
