Just in case you've been unable to sate your juice lust locally, Los Angeles-based smoothie chain Robeks has opened its first store in our area, at 1035 Chestnut Street. The company is hoping to open a total of 37 shops throughout Philly and its suburbs.

The setup is smoothie-standard, with a vast array of fresh fruits and vegetables waiting to be pulled from the lineup and blended to order. Menu choices run from basic strawberry-banana smoothies to green juices to bodybuilder-appropriate concoctions spiked with hefty doses of protein powder. They've also got blended coffee drinks.

Robeks is open 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekends.
