Revel Resort

ATLANTIC CITY — Even though Revel casino already shut down earlier this month, there's still plenty of uncertainty about the property's future. Philly Business Journal talked to the Garces Group, who were majorly affected by the shutter, having operated four restaurants within the resort. According to the report, the group did sink some money into their spaces and are now actively involved in the proceedings — and they're focused on resurrecting the casino and maintaining their presence there. They might need to find a way to stir up some more interested parties if that's to be the case, though — the property's only current bidder is a developer who wants to turn the space into a "university for geniuses."
