FISHTOWN — Kensington Quarters is celebrating their one year anniversary tonight, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. For you carnivores, chef Damon Menapace and butcher Heather Thomason will be serving up some complimentary whole porchetta and bone-in roast beef round, carved to-order. Other complimentary hors d'oeuvres include smoked sausage, hush puppies, fancy vegetables, etc. Live music and bar specials will be available all night, and if you're really feeling the love, everything in the butcher shop is available for purchase on your way out.
RITTENHOUSE — Next Wednesday, October 28, Aldine will host their own one year anniversary party, but they'll be doing things a little differently. From 6:00-10:00 p.m., chef George Sabatino will offer items from their new fall menu, at your leisure (buffet style). On the menu: potato and leek croquettes, chicken liver mousse, squash tartine, and whole suckling pig carved by Sabatino through the night. The best part? It's also a Halloween party, with Halloween-themed cocktails and costumes galore. So dress as you would, and be sure to bring your kids; seats cost $35 ($15 for kids), and after 10:00 p.m., a late-night happy hour for all.
