Celebrate with costume contests, "spooky cocktails", Day of the Dead menus and more.

Looking for Halloween fun beyond giving out candy to trick-or-treaters? Here's what restaurants are doing for Halloween. Eater will update this guide as more activities emerge.

Wahlburgers Food Truck Begins Service at the Piazza

What: Wahlburgers, the restaurant/food truck founded by the Mark Wahlberg, and his brothers Paul and Donnie, and the main attraction of Emmy-nominated reality TV show, Wahlburgers, is rolling into the Piazza tomorrow, October 31, 2015. The first 300 people in costume will receive a free "Our Burger". The food truck will serve a limited menu at the site beginning on October 31st, and this Winter open its brick and mortar location in the Piazza. Philadelphians are invited to enter a contest to create the Invincible Burger in tribute to the 2006 film.

Chaat and Chai

What: The ladies over at Chaat and Chai have announced their opening date: November 10, 2015. But in the meantime, they'll be serving free, hot chai and candy outside of their storefront.

El Rey Celebrates Dia de los Muertos

What: Chef Dionicio Jimenez of El Rey will offer Day of the Dead menu additions during dinner. Available a la carte, these items are reminiscent of dishes he's enjoyed with his family over the years for Dia de los Muertos with some of the recipes even being handed down from family members.

Morgan's Pier Halloween 2015: Drink the Bar Dry

What: It's Morgan's Pier's first Halloween on the last day of the season. The goal: drink the bar dry. Entrance is $30 with costume and $40 without, and you'll have access to an open bar (including premium drinks until they're gone, and guaranteed well and domestics all night) and automatic entrance into the Costume Contest: $500 for each winner — categories include: R-rated, Group Theme and Best Overall.

Devil's Den Halloween Pumpkin Tapping

What: An event centered on Halloween's unofficial mascot—the pumpkin. With pumpkin beers, pumpkin food specials and even a few pumpkin firkins. Get in the Halloween spirit with brews like Barren Hill Mel's Pumpkin Pie with Vanilla & Molasses, Southern Tier Pumking, and Bruery Autumn Maple, with the full draft list still to be announced!

Sancho Pistola's Bake-Off Costume Party and Halloween Party

What: Sancho Pistola's hosts a monthly dessert bake-off, and this month's is a candy-themed competition. You will have to recreate your favorite Halloween candy in a dessert form (You can't use the actual candy at all) — no cheesecakes either.

Where: 19 West Girard Ave., Philadelphia, PA

When: Tonight, October 26, Costume Party starts at 10:00 p.m., the dessert entries in by 11:00 p.m., winners announced by midnight. Then, this Saturday, join them for Halloween Star Wars party, which starts around 7 on Saturday October 31. They are hosting both the pre and post parties for the moe. concert at The Fillmore (also Star Wars themed).

Drury Beer Garden's Boos & Booze Costume Party

What: Evil Genius Brewery will be featuring Trick or Treat Pumpkin Porter, Evil EYE PA and Stacy's Mom IPA. There will be additional specials, giveaways, and prizes for the best costume.

When: Friday, October 30, starting at 8:00 p.m.

13th Street Kitchens Halloween Costume Contest

What: All of the 13th Street Kitchens locations (Cafe Lift, Prohibition Taproom, Bufad and Kensington Quarters) will be holding a Halloween Costume Contest. Anyone who visits any of the locations mentioned above, takes a photo of themselves dressed up in their Halloween costume and posts it to Instagram, could be selected to win a gift card to use at any of the restaurants. In addition, they are automatically entered to win an additional gift card to donate to the charity of their choice. Here are the rules via the 13th Street Kitchens crew:

  1. Post a photo of yourself at one of our locations in your halloween costume.
  2. Hashtag the photo #HalloweenOn13thStreet
  3. Mention or tag the charity of your choice (so they know who to donate to if you win)

Day of the Dead DIY Taco Night at Lolita

What: A special, $35 Day of the Dead menu will be offered to guests of Lolita. Served family style, the three course menu will include a Mexican Chopped Salad and Pumpkin and Green Chile Tamales (the first course), tacos of your choosing (Yucatan chicken, mole carrots, plantain-crusted Mahi, Morita chile-braised short rib, and chile-garlic rubbed pork shoulder) with all the fixings, and tres leches cake.
