November 10 is the official opening date of Chaat and Chai, the Indian street food restaurant opening on Snyder Avenue. What originally began as a high-end grocery turned into a multi-mural'd Indian restaurant with an uber-colorful interior design. In the front of the space, you'll find walls adorned with Anney Thomas and Margie Felton's collection of hand-painted coat hooks, cold-weather ready. And for retail purchase: a rack of spice mixes, Backyard Beans coffee (a local roaster in Lansdale, PA), and more coat hooks for your home. Chaat and Chai's hours will be Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., and on Friday and Saturdays, until 10 p.m. On Sundays, they'll be open for brunch 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The menu (which you'll find below) is broken down into chaats, street fare, larger plates, sides, and desserts.
