Victory has added a Parkesburg location to its roster of brewpubs in Downingtown and Kennett Square. Located roughly an hour-and-a-half outside of Philly, Victory at Parkesburg is its biggest and most eco-friendly facility yet. It boasts a massive, EPA-approved two-story building which seats up to 348 people.
Operating as a brewery for the last two years, Parkesburg is well-suited for those who want a glimpse of how their pint came to be. A self-guided tour narrated by Lew Bryson, a local beer and whiskey writer, lets visitors see the ins-and-outs of the brewing, bottling, and packing process firsthand.
A mezzanine bar offers beers and light bites while the main dining room is best for sit-down meals. There you'll find a massive half-ton communal table made of old barn wood and 30 taps on rotation.
As you'd expect, some dishes feature Victory beer, such as fried tortillas with jalapeno HopDevil cheese ($6) and a hand-tossed pretzel with Helles lager beer mustard ($6). If you like traditional brewpub offerings like hickory-smoked chicken wings, short rib and chuck hamburgers, and barbecue ribs, you're in luck. But, vegetarians, don't feel left out. They have robust vegetarian options too, like mushroom cavatelli, veggie burgers, and quinoa salads. Check out the full menu here.
Victory at Parkesburg is open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. - midnight and Sunday from 11:00 am to 10:00 p.m.
