WASHINGTON SQUARE WEST — Justin Smillie, chef and co-owner of New York City's chic brasserie Upland, is cooking dinner at Talula's Daily on Monday, November 30 to celebrate the release of "Slow Fires", his braising, roasting, and grilling cookbook. QUEEN VILLAGE — Whetstone Tavern is now offering a late night happy hour menu from 10:00 p.m. to midnight every day. PENN'S LANDING — On Wednesday, December 2 at 6 p.m, local nanobrewery Saint Benjamin Brewing is collaborating with French-inspired brasserie La Peg on a winter beer-pairing dinner. Four courses—winter salad, foie gras terrine, seafood choucroute, and kugelhopf—will be paired with Saint Benjamin beers. It's $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and reservations are required.
