Malbec Argentine Steakhouse to Open in Headhouse Square

What used to be Society Hill Society will now become an Argentinian steakhouse.

Back in July, Michael Klein reported about an Argentinian steakhouse called Argento taking over the former Society Hill Society space (400-402 S. 2nd Street) in Headhouse Square. Things have changed since then. The steakhouse, with a new sign, a redesigned interior, and a Facebook page, is now called Malbec Argentine Steakhouse. The restaurant falls under the parent company Argento, with a sister Cuban steakhouse in Long Island City, NY called Madera Grill.

Malbec is slated to open sometime in the beginning of December, and as soon as menus are finalized, we'll have those posted for your perusal.
