Bud & Marilyn's Adds An All-American Weekday Lunch

Lunch is always a welcome addition in Philly, especially when it involves a bucket of fried chicken.

While most lunch menus usually boil down to being the poor man's version of a restaurant's dinner menu, Bud & Marilyn's new lunch menu, at the very least, offers some variety to your work week. Look for Marcie Turney's Jewish-deli takes on matzo ball soup, done fancy with scarlet carrots and crispy chicken skin, or smoked beet reubens with pickled carrot & jicama slaw. But don't skip out on Turney's $14 lobster buns, Bud & Marilyn's curried interpretation of the New England classic might be the most affordable version in town.
