ATLANTIC CITY — Michael Symon, the Cleveland native, shiny-domed Food Network star, is opening his first Italian concept in Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in the fall of 2016. The Borgata already has two other Iron Chef-driven restaurants by Bobby Flay (Bobby Flay Steak) and Geoffrey Zakarian (Sunroom Lounge), and includes a Wolfgang Puck eatery (Wolfgang Puck American Grille). With the addition of The Chew host's yet-to-be-named restaurant, the casino-hotel will house, count 'em, four celebrity-chef restaurants.

Symon, of Greek and Sicilian ancestry, will find his roots with his new venture, focusing on the cuisine that launched his career: some good ol', down-home Italian cooking in chef Michael Mina's former SeaBlue location.

RITTENHOUSE — In addition to updating their 3-course seasonal cocktail tasting menu, "Juicy", and 5-course tasting menu, "Greatest Hits" , head bartender Sara Justice has opted to keep The Upstairs Bar, which had only been open Wednesday through Saturdays previously, open seven days a week. And to kick it off, this Sunday, they're hosting a DJ'd 90s-themed industry night (10% off with valid paystub) from 9:00p.m. - 2:00 a.m.
