QUEEN VILLAGE — This weekend saw Kanella's first major review since its risky move away from a smoldering corner in Washington Square West to Konstantinos Pitsedellis's new digs in quiet Queen Village. In celebration of the success, Pitsillides and his general manager Ulises Robles will throw a neighborhood-appreciation-holiday-happy hour-party at the bar from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. this Sunday, December 27. A complimentary food bar, including a food pairing by the chef, will go alongside $9 glasses of Perrier Jouet Brut and Blossom Rosé.
