The Last-Minute Valentine's Day Reservation Guide

Don't worry, procrastinators — there are still some good tables to be scored.

Ready or not, Valentine's Day is upon us. And if you're willing to brave the potential shitshow that is dining out on this, the most Hallmark of holidays... well, hopefully you made your reservations weeks ago. But if you slacked, take heart: There are worthwhile tables left to satisfy all kinds of tastes, as long as you're willing to suck it up and eat at 5 or 10 p.m. Eater scoured the ever-dwindling options on OpenTable and came up with these best bets.

(Note: We assumed that no matter how desperate you are, you probably don't want to eat before 5 p.m. But if you think you can convince your beloved that a mid-afternoon meal was your actual idea of a romantic good time, you will find a little more availability by scanning the site.)

[Updated 2/13: We've gone back over this one more time to update it, although if you haven't made Valentine's Day plans yet, it might be time to just admit that you're not really a Valentine's Day plan-making kind of human.]
