When beloved BYOB Mémé shut its doors back in 2012 (in the space that now houses Fitler Dining Room), it took with it a deal that people still pine for: Thursday fried chicken lunches. Since then, American Sardine Bar chef Scott Schroeder has made it an annual tradition to bring in Mémé chef-owner David Katz to revive the old favorite. And it's almost that time again, so go ahead and set an alert for Thursday, February 19, at 11 a.m.
The format remains the same as ever: $11 gets you an order of fried chicken, a biscuit, and a High Life. It's always a popular event, and it ends whenever they run out of chicken, so mark it down now and plan to get to ASB early to avoid potential heartbreak.
