Say So Long to the Strip Joint in Graduate Hospital

It's a wrap for the Strip Joint, the "value-driven steakhouse" that replaced SoWe about a year ago at 22nd and Carpenter. In its place, reports the Insider, will be a "contemporary Mexican" restaurant and bar called Los Camaradas.

The Strip Joint packed in its provocatively, punnily named cocktails and affordable steak dinners in early January, though at the time their Facebook page promised "a few exciting changes" following a few weeks' break. New owners and a fully new restaurant would certainly qualify as major changes.

According to the Insider's report, the new restaurant plans to open its doors later this month.
