Top Chef alum Jason Cichonski has reopened the doors at the Gaslight, his Old City bar and restaurant that's been shut down for about a month following damage from a burst pipe. Though the official reopening has been reported as slated for next week, a call to the restaurant confirmed that the Gaslight is in fact open tonight. (However, they are not planning on serving brunch this weekend.)

They've capitalized on the break by instating a number of major changes to the restaurant, which faced a disappointing reception from Philly critics. Chef Jordan Sauter has come on to lead the kitchen, reports Michael Klein for Philly.com. Sauter worked for Philadelphia Bar and Restaurant (which previously occupied the Gaslight space), Modo Mio, and Rembrandt's, before moving into a different sort of gig with Whole Foods.

To celebrate, they'll also host a complimentary happy hour on Wednesday, April 8 from 5 to 7 p.m., with cocktails courtesy of Bluecoat American Dry Gin and Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin.

Here's the new menu, which is majorly reworked but retains hits like the signature burger and chicken nuggets:
