Watch Marc Vetri Tour His Favorite Philly Restaurants on Munchies' Chef's Night Out

The chef declares spaghetti with clams to be his "favorite thing in the whole world to make." Now you know.

As previously promised, there's a new episode of Munchies' Chef's Night Out starring Marc Vetri, which dropped a little earlier than expected. After sharing a bit of insight into how he trained as a chef and helped build the Philadelphia restaurant scene (plus a brief glimpse at how to make his renowned spinach gnocchi), he heads off to eat at some of his favorite restaurants around town with Vetri chef de cuisine (and 2012 Eater Young Guns honoree) Adam Leonti.

First, a stop for some "holy-fucking-shit toro" and other delicacies at Morimoto, where they add head sushi chef Hiroki Fujiyama to their crew and all relocate to Cypriot favorite Kanella. Finally, the group returns to Vetri and heads upstairs for a wine-fueled "jam session" with a couple of musicians while Vetri whips up a dish of fresh tagliatelle and shows off some of the guitar skills leftover from his Mild Mustard days.
