Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner but known far and wide for its impressive brunch crowds, Sabrina's Cafe is expanding once again, according to NJPen.com. This time, owners Robert and Raquel DeAbreu are looking just across the bridge to Collingswood, NJ, for what will be their fifth location. They're aiming for an August opening.
The space should ultimately seat just over 100 people once renovations are complete. It most recently housed if-you-blinked-you-missed-it Local Collingswood grocery; before that, it was home to Benny's Burger Joint, short-lived successor to Blackbird Dining Establishment. But through all the changeover, it sounds like landing Sabrina's was a longtime dream: "We've been pursuing [DeAbreu] for 10 years," building owner Patric Ciervo told NJ Pen, which would be downright chilling if not for the context.
