Slated for the second level of the sleek glass box nearing completion at 15th and Walnut, the Cheesecake Factory will arrive in Center City this summer. It's set an opening date of Tuesday, June 23, according to a report from Michael Klein for Philly.com. And they're already getting started on the hiring process, per this Craigslist ad that went up just this afternoon, promising "amazing opportunities for individuals with Passion and Perfection."

The chain restaurant — well known for its massive, rambling, greatest-hits-of-America menu, and yes, miles and miles of cheesecake — already has locations in King of Prussia, Cherry Hill, and Willow Grove.

The arrival of the Cheesecake Factory to Philly has been anticipated for almost as long as the new building itself, which is a few years in the works. (Several tenants of the former building, like Elixr coffee, shuffled to new spaces in advance of demolition.) Last year, Curbed Philly took a closer look at the building's innovative design, which was conceived by architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (known for this other, more literal glass box) and has been lauded by Inquirer architecture critic Inga Saffron.
