The doors are open at Tria Fitler Square, one of spring's most anticipated openings. Taking the place of the former Dmitri's, this new member of the ever-popular Tria family incorporates the beer, wine, cheese, and relaxed atmosphere you expect from the brand. But it also builds on the more food-forward approach begun by Tria Taproom, with a menu that could solidify it as a dinner destination.
Tria owners Jon Myerow and Michael McCaulley have installed a full kitchen at this new location, and brought on chef Karen Nicolas (former chef at Main Line kosher spot Citron + Rose and a 2012 Food & Wine Best New Chef honoree) to run it. The mains are described as "medium plates" (all comfortably under $20), favoring dinner-friendly selections like roast chicken, braised short rib, and fresh pastas. There's also a wide variety of starters and salads, as well as desserts.
