1) RITTENHOUSE/LOGAN SQUARE — Specializing in healthy, seasonal, allergen-free foods, Farmer's Keep is a new casual lunch and dinner option for Rittenhouse. A rotating selection of salads, proteins, and sides are all mix- and matchable to be purchased by the pound, with fresh juices and kombucha available to go with. Everything is free of gluten, dairy, eggs, shellfish, and nuts (and meat options are also completely separate, so it's simple to keep it vegan). Status: Open. 10 S. 20th St. (at Ludlow), (215) 309-2928, official site.
2) HAVERFORD — With locations already in West Philly and Wayne, a third White Dog Cafe is now open in Haverford. An early adopter of the local/sustainable ethos, White Dog serves an eclectic mix of seasonal American fare. Through this first weekend, it's bar and dinner service only; lunch begins on Monday, May 18, plus brunch on weekends. Status: Open. 379 Lancaster Ave., Haverford, (610) 896-4556, official website.
3) POINT BREEZE — The new Point Breeze Pop-Up beer garden, from the owner of South Philly Tap Room and American Sardine Bar, debuts this weekend with SPTR's tenth annual Wheat Beer Fest. A semi trailer converted into a beer cooler provides ten taps; food will be available from food trucks (and off the grill during special events). Status: Opens Saturday, May 16; regular hours begin Thursday, May 21. 1622 Point Breeze Ave. (at Tasker), official website.
