WASH WEST — You can celebrate rosé season in truly grand style this year with a rosé class and tasting event upstairs at Vetri, coming up on Tuesday, June 23. It's limited to one seating of 18 guests and runs $185 (plus tax and tip), but promises to educate you via an impressive list of pours, and comes paired with  delicacies including oysters and caviar, lobster panzanella, soft-shell crabs, and more. Tickets here. [EaterWire]

WEST PHILLY — Another edition of the ever-popular Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll is coming up on Thursday, June 25, with tons of local businesses offering up $1 deals on food and much more. Head over to Foobooz for more details. [Foobooz]

POP-UPS — The Insider got confirmation this week that, as many were beginning to suspect, the previously announced third PHS pop-up beer garden (slated for Three Logan Square) will not happen this year. The other two — one at 15th and South and one on Ninth Street across from Pat's — have been bustling for a couple of weeks now. [Philly.com]

SOUTH PHILLY — On the retail front, the Passyunk Post has checked in recently with a couple of newly opened South Philly sweet shops: Sweet Memories chocolate on East Passyunk, selling gift-appropriate confections as well as candy-making supplies, and MoJo's Pop Co. in Pennsport, a weekends-only storefront for the local popcorn brand typically seen at farmer's markets. In addition to their popcorn, MoJo's is also serving ice cream and coffee. [Passyunk Post]
